A SONG UNTO THE GLORY OF OUR VICTORIOUS BATTLEMAIDENS:
Acknowledging RISK as the True Calling
Of Every Aspiring Warrior Woman:
I have walked between the shadows
Of the dark and desperate human heart,
To discover that which drives them
Within their choice of where to start.
I have learned the subtle ways
Of cunning and deceits,
To uncover that which yields them
Unto these sad defeats.
I have clung unto my holdings
While keeping death at bay,
To survive unto the moment
When my set comes into play.
I have slaughtered all who would oppose me
Standing high above my seat,
To shortly show my lethal prowess,
Which I here shall now repeat.
I have routed mighty champions
From every corner of the land,
To watch them bow before me
Swearing fealty to my hand.
I have raised the vibrant colours of my standard
For each new strike across the board,
To unleash a twisted rein of terror
Which your waning legions can sadly ill-afford.
I have come unto this table
I have walked between the shadows
Of the dark and desperate human heart,
To discover that which drives them
Within their choice of where to start.
I have learned the subtle ways
Of cunning and deceits,
To uncover that which yields them
Unto these sad defeats.
I have clung unto my holdings
While keeping death at bay,
To survive unto the moment
When my set comes into play.
I have slaughtered all who would oppose me
Standing high above my seat,
To shortly show my lethal prowess,
Which I here shall now repeat.
I have routed mighty champions
From every corner of the land,
To watch them bow before me
Swearing fealty to my hand.
I have raised the vibrant colours of my standard
For each new strike across the board,
To unleash a twisted rein of terror
Which your waning legions can sadly ill-afford.
I have come unto this table
To speak of your all-too-certain doom:
"I came, I saw, I conquered,"
"I came, I saw, I conquered,"
To depart, as I am able,
From the foes within this room."

Harkening to the joyous, simpler times of a forgotten, bygone age, this flamboyantly foolish, and rigorously ill-concieved play upon The Battle Hymn of the Republic, is humbly dedicated to those brave women whose valiant efforts upon the field of battle shall be cherished, now and forever.
